View detailed information about this update in the changelog here.
If the update hangs on unzipping, see the bottom of this message.
The main thing in this update is the addition of Stripe Checkout Payment Option which is ready for Strong Customer Authentication and 3D Secure V2 which European users will be required to use starting September 14, 2019. (Settings -> Checkout & Payment)
Some other additions and fixes as well. View the change log here.
How to update:
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today, then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.
If you are currently using Sytist version 1.0.0 or higher, you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.
UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';
Then return to your admin home page.
If the auto update feature won't work for you for some reason, you will have to manually update.
When using the auto-update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. If it used to work then your host probably changed something to cause the ZIP functions in PHP to go away. You can contact your hosting company and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP.

Hi Tim,
If we already have Stripe payments enabled os there anything we need to do to implement the changes or does it update automatically.
Cheers.

There seems to be an issue with the Credit Card payment. The old set up won't work for me I'm in Australia. And the new set up charges my credit card but no orders go through.
I don't really like using PayPal as the only option, but I had to turn my stripe payment off if its not recording the sale.

David, you would need to go to Settings -> Checkout & Payment to enable the new stripe.
Angie, I put out an update this morning to fix the old stripe that stopped working. If the new one is not working you most likely don't have the webhook set up correctly. Edit that payment option and look in the webhook section.

I am unable to get a clear answer about Square. They don't even have a way to test it right now.
