A new Sytist update (2.4) is now available and some of the changes include:
And a few more changes.
Click here for the complete change log for this update.
How to update:
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today , then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.
If you are currently using version Sytist 1.0.0 or higher, you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.
UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';
Then return to your admin home page.
If the auto update feature won't work for you for some reason, you will have to manually update.
When using the auto update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. You can contact your host and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP.
- New admin home page where you can rearrange the sections and the option to show/hide sections. (view demo to see)
- A make over to the admin
- Added the option to view & batch delete all account credits in People -> All Account Credits.
- Added Past Due section to orders/invoices in the left menu of the Orders section and alert section on the home page.
- Added showing background photo to thumbnails of favorites added from green screen galleries in the admin.
- Added a popup of visitor details when clicking from stats on the home page.
- Added recently viewed pages to admin home
And a few more changes.

Mike, there is not a way to increase the amount of recent orders, it is hard coded.
Cyndi, I do not offer hosting. If you are looking for a host, I can recommend http://www.saratogahosting.com/.

Thanks Tim! I'm having a hard time applying any updates with the host I have. If they can't help me out, I will be switching.

Thanks Tim!
I really like the Account Credits list feature. Is there a way to only show people that have a positive Account Credit available? The way it works right now, it shows Account Credit "activity" so it includes all of the credit debits that people have used and I can't tell who actually still have a positive credit available to them.

Image graphics, on packing slip, are now being printed at a very low resolution.
Printer is set to print graphics at 300 dpi.

I noticed that the function I use to send individual email (from templates) to clients no longer displays the message in the visual HTML editor. It now only shows the message and allows you to edit it with the text editor and shows all the HTML markup.

I can not duplicate this issue. Are you able to edit a page or gallery and get the text editor (which is the same one that is used to send emails).

It took me a bit to figure out the actual click order, but I can duplicate it.
1) From the People area of the admin, view a person (one that you have previously sent email to)
2) Click on the email log icon
3) Click on any previously sent email to view it
4) Close the email you just viewed
5) Click on the Send Email link under the person's name and address
The dialog box that opens to send the new email does not have the HTML editor. It only shows the HTML markup.
The key to duplicating it seems to be viewing a previously sent email immediately BEFORE sending a new email.

I can't duplicate that behavior following this exactly, but I will test out in a couple of other installations.
