Help Matching Qr Code Files To Subject Images – Issue With Duplicate First Names

We photograph athletes holding their QR code sheet instead of just photographing the QR code alone. This creates a fun "mugshot-style" image and ensures we name files correctly, even if the QR doesn't always scan.

Here's our process:

  • We download the QR sheets as PDFs, convert them to JPGs, and rename them alphabetically by the athlete's first name and then Last name  to line them up ahead of their corresponding subject images.
  • The issue arises when there are multiple athletes with the same first name. The QR JPGs no longer align properly with my csv.

My question:
When Sytist organizes QR codes by "First Name," how does it sort duplicates with the same first name? It doesn't appear to sort by last name as a secondary field. Does anyone know what sorting logic Sytist uses after first name when there are duplicates?

Thanks in advance!

It is only sorting by the field selected. So if sorting by first name, there will be no specific order for the last names of the same first names.

I will make a note to add last name to the sort when sorting by first name.
