How To Remove Folders In The Misc File Upload Area

Does anyone know how to remove folders in the Misc file area.
These folders are old and I want to clean up this area but there doesnt seem to be a delete button for folders - only for files within the folder or not placed in a folder.

You will have to delete them through the file manager in your hosting control panel or FTP client.
