How To Offer An Entire Gallery As A Package Or Product In The Price List

I am sure this has been asked before but I do not know where to find it. I have an event coming up where I would like individuals to pre-purchase an entire gallery. How can that be done? Is it possible for the client to download it as a zip file? I see that there is a product option that after setting the price you can check "free download" I assumed that that would allow to unlock the full gallery for the given price, but apparently not (see image). Any suggestions?

THank you

Hi,
I do it in a different way.
I created a new page called prevendite (pre-sale)
I created collections where I added just 1 jpeg file and give them a price.
Then I created a price list where I added such collections.
In the newly created page I assigned that price list and I enabled "Pre Order" in the menù on the right of the page.

use password "see" if you want to pay a look to understand if this can fit to your needs.
I then send the files via wetransfer to the one who purchased it.

Marco

You can use the Paid Access feature where they will pay to access the photos.

And use the Free Downloads feature for them to download the photos. They will also be able to download the photos in zip files.

If you want them to purchase access ahead of time, set up the paid access and add a message something like this to the page text of the gallery:

Thank you for purchasing access! We will notify you when the photos become available.

When they are, it is important to log back into your access to access the photos.

And you can notify the customers in the People tab of the gallery the photos are ready.

Thank you Tim,

the problem is that I plan to create individual galleries for each of the performers after they paid, so I cannot really create the gallery ahead of time, unless the galleries are sub galleries with different access codes? What I have done for now I set up a pre-order credit and my intention was to just send the access code to free galleries to each of the paid individuals, but then I am not sure how to extinguish the credit they purchased.

Also, it is critical for me that at the time of purchase I have field  options for name, day of performance, rotation number, performance number, etc. So I am using such field options in the pre-purchase. Is that an option also in Paint Access Feature?

Here is the link to my current pre-purchase gallery:

Thank you!

If you plan on creating individual galleries then just free downloads to the gallery.

There is not an option to add options for paid access.

Thank you Tim. I think the way I have it should work well. However, I am not 100% sure how it works out with selling credits. My idea is that clients pre-purchase credits, in the order I have the routines to be included in the purchase, I create a gallery for each order, I make them free to download and I send the access code to the client. At this point, what happens to the credits they purchased? What would you recommend?

Thank you

Armando

If you are making them their own gallery with free downloads, there is no need for any credits.

Hello Tim,

As I mentioned earlier, the galleries are not free. The idea is that I will only shoot who pre-pays, create individual galleries for them and get them an access code for each free gallery with the option to download all in a single zip file. So far the easiest way I found was to have them to per-order credits, which also allows to add optional fields in the pre-order form with the details of the routines to photographs. As I said earlier I am not sure how to deal with the credits they purchased after sending them the free galleries link. It seems like I could assign a credit value of $0, maybe that works?

Since you are setting them up a gallery with free downloads, forget the credit.

Just create a standard product in the product base named something like gallery access, add that to the price list you want to use for this.

Thank you Marco, I reviewed your process. I think what you are doing is the same as me, however, while you simply send them the files, I intend share a gallery where they can get the pictures from. I think my issue was that I was trying to use credits, while by creating a standard product I can just make free galleries with access code.

Thank you, that makes sense. For some reasons I did not realize I could add options to a standard product, not just credits. All the best!
