Site Is Not Live But Its Already Linked From My Current Site

I have not launched my new site yet... at this rate it will probably be months. However, when you click on the links at the top of my old site, it is taking people to the new site content which is not even ready to be viewed:

This is because your new pages / categories in Sytist have the same file names as your existing website pages.
Like your portfolio section. You will need to edit your portfolio section in Sytist, click the Rename Folder tab and change the folder name of that category

Can I change the name back to "portfolio" when I make it live? I really want to use that name
