Photo Order In Galleries When Rearranging By File Name

Hi, is it possible to arrange photos by number order rather than filename order in a gallery? If i upload photos with numbers 1,2,3,10,11 for example and then rearrange by filename order,  when I add more photos to the gallery, the order that is presented is 1,10,11,2,3 - not the correct number order

It is the way the file system works. You need leading zeros. 

When naming your images, you will want to use leading zeros in the numbers. For example: 0001, 0002, 0010, 0012, 0100, etc

When you names them like 1,2,3,10,11,20,21,100,101,etc, the server will most likely order them as 1,10, 100, 101, 2, 20, 21 which we don't want.

So for that reason, your image file names should have leading zeros. If the image filename also has letter, you will still want to use leading zeros

Img_0001, img_0010, etc
