Square Api Version
In attempting to troubleshoot an error message clients have indicated they are receiving, I also noticed that my Square API version is quite out of date (75 versions behind; using 2018-07-12, current is 2024-09-19).
As I don't want to over break things while trying to fix them, would there be any impact in the Sytist API calls to Square if the settings in Square are updated? Is this something taken into account with Sytist development?
This is affecting paying invoices. Fixed in the 5.1.1 update released this morning.

Yes.
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today before the update was released, then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.
You can click Settings in the main menu then UNDERNEATH the left menu click check for update to have it recheck.
