Disable 'pay Now' Button On Invoice

Is there a way to disable the 'Pay Now' button on an invoice that has been sent?

Unfortunately in a situation where I need to request a form of payment (check/etc) that can't be reversed with a client.

Not a way to remove it. You could delete it, recreate it, then use the Print / Packing slip option and print to PDF and email.

Thanks Tim. Wouldn't this change the invoice number, time/date history, etc.?

Playing a bit, I changed the payment status to 'pending', which appears to do mostly the same thing (disables the Pay Now button), where I can send the invoice as a PDF.

It would change all that. Setting it to pending sounds like the way to go.
