Outgoing Emails Showing Server Info Before The Email Address

Tim,

I am having an issue where the emails being sent are showing the server info before the email address in the From section. I did several tests and reached out to my hosting provider and they said I should use SMTP instead of PHP. Here's how it look when I sent myself a test email from Sytist Admin.

Is there something I need to change to correct this?

Your host is adding that, not Sytist.

Instructions for SMTP PHPMailer here.

Tim,

Thanks for following up. I setup my email to send SMTP as shown in your instructions. It is not sending and sits there saying it is sending and then it times out or crashes. ASre there some setting on my host or in Sytist that I am missing? If you need to I can email you Admin login details to my site.

You will need to ask your host for the correct settings and  credentials for the SMTP PHPMailer Settings.

Tim,

I spoke with my hosting provider and all the settings I have in sytist are correct:

My Sytist settings are as shown above from the customer service rep. I have also checked both the username and password and they are both correct.

When I try sending a test email to my personal email address iIt sits there doing nothing then it gives me this error:

Request Timeout

This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

I did change the Sytist settings to TSL and port 587 and now it is working.

Thank you again for all the assistance & support your provide!
