Sub Galleries

I created sub galleries when uploading photos. So I have folders under the category, but the names are not showing up next to the folder.
What is the select for next to the folder?

You have changed the page listing layout somewhere to a Store layout. Edit they category that gallery is in and go to Layouts -> Page Listing Layouts and change it to Thumbnails.
If that is not the culprit, I will need access to your admin to see where it was changed. In that case, You can email me the following for me to look into it:
1) The link / URL to your Sytist admin (where you log into your Sytist admin).
2) Create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the main menu, or send me your admin username and password.
