Matching Multiple Group Photos To Individuals

I shoot schools and use the CSV Passcode method to upload 3 individual photos per student. I match each individual photo(under the FILENAME heading) to a GROUP photo and am therefore limited to 3 Group Photos per student.

Headers of the CSV follow the following template:

FILENAME PASSWORD GROUP EMAIL FIRST_NAME LAST_NAME EXTRA1 EXTRA2 EXTRA3

HOWEVER: Some students are in more than 3 clubs/sports teams. Is there a way to add more groups per student without adding more corresponding Individual photos?

Thank you

Does using those extra 1, extra 2 work for you to assign additional groups? I thought we could only match one group to each individual. In the past I have added sub galleries which means all students have access to all sub galleries, but they sit under their main log in for security. Eg sub galleries Sports Groups A-M, Sports - Netball, Sports Groups O-Z.

Correct, one group to each main photo.

What I do is have 3 photos of each child, then have a different photo referenced in the GROUP field. When their code, which is of course the same for each of their individual photos, is put in to the search field you see all 3 individual photos and when you click the GROUP tab you see three different Group photos. However when there are more groups than individuals solo only pix you have a problem.

I did try sub galleries but my main school client who supplies nearly 50% of our income does not like them and considers it messy and confusing to parents. I have to admit...parents get confused easily so they are not wrong.

I may need to move this to a feature request

The individual would have to have a induvial photo for each group.

Meaning, if they are in 5 group photos, they would need to have 5 individual photos to assign a different group photo for.

Much thanks. I suspected this was the case.

GC did you work out a way around this? Could we add tiny file place holder images so that the group column can be used for more groups or will that confuse parents more? I have not tested yet. We too have schools that don't like the sub galleries or all group photographs being displayed, but rather only the ones associated to each student. We have the ability to spreadsheet this into student portrait image/s plus multiple group/class columns easily using our front end workflow system, but then haven't found a way to import or display them like that on sytist.

I checked our data across several colleges and it looks like 15 was the maximum number of groups one student featured in for our work. How good if the parent can just say select all and buy...

I like your thinking on this. Maybe a "photo" the size of  pixel would be the way to do this as it should enable more group photos thats for sure!

I need to test this out :-)

Please report back if you test before me! It's on my list. Thank you.
