Right-click Download Behaviour On Phones/pcs

My galleries work as I intend, not allowing right-click-download.

However, pressing and holding a gallery image on my android phone brings up a prompt to download.

Is there a way to block this?

I don't get the same results on Android. Nothing happens but a vibrate, no download or save menu.

Just tested it in this demo gallery.

Whereas I *can download from your demo gallery, although I suspect this is only the thumbnail, despite the word 'large' in the filename.

On a PC of course, any download attempt results in being obliged to download the webpage.

Just tested it in Chrome and Duckduckgo.

In Chrome, behaviour is as expected - no response to any attempt to download.

Duckduckgo, however, *does allow download. And the image is large enough (316kb) to be useful on a PC screen

On desktop chrome and firefox, you have always been able to drag and drop the large image to a new tab for it to show just the jpeg file

I've never used duck duck go, apparently it doesn't behave as it should. I've made a note to look into it.

I use DuckDuckGo on a Mac running 12.7.1 and also on iOS on 17.6.1 and it does not allow right click downloading
