Qr Collect Data Onsite - Then Print Their Qr Card

When I collect data on site from a walk-in client, how can I easily print out their QR card so it looks like everyone else's?

I followed the instructions on your help article and chose "View this Entry" after I enter the data, but that page only shows a basic/default template that isn't suitable for giving to the student.

Is there a simple way to print the QR card for individual walk-in clients?

You wouldn't print it out. You would photography the QR code displayed on your mobile device then photograph the subject.

If you picture yourself shooting with a lineup of kids you might see the issue.

All the kids are lined up with their QR card by a volunteer or staff member so the photographer can keep shooting steadily.  If he has to stop and look up a student it slows things down, and if it happens multiple times it becomes a huge delay.

(Especially if the kids are in elementary or something ... "What's your last name?" ... "I don't know...")

Anyway, all that page needs is the same print settings you have elsewhere so the volunteer team can make a card for them.

If that's not something you can add, would you help me find the "View this Entry" page in the Sytist files so I can edit it and add some important static text at least?  Then I can use the browser's print function and the team can print a not-quite-as-good version that will do the job.

If you can't just simply take a photo of the QR code on the phone , then log into the admin, add the subject to the gallery (view gallery -> QR tab -> Add Single Entry), once added, find that subject and click printer icon next to it to print individual QR code with your printer on site.

You can also use the "Print Extra QR Codes Without Subject Data" option when viewing the QR section of the gallery to print extra ahead of time.

So that is 3 options.

Thanks, the 'Add Single Entry' option in the admin should do the trick, we can get our staff set up for that.  Don't know how I didn't see it

I print extra QR codes ahead of time and write the subject’s name with marker on the sheet before photographing.

The down-side to this is that the parents will not get an email about the gallery, so unless by some miracle the child brings the QR sheet home for them we end up with parents wondering how to view the photos.

When we enter their contact information in the system first, everything goes through the same process and it's nice and clean.

Michael, You are absolutely correct.  In many ways all of the same problems still exist.  Even the face ID systems I see still have the common problems.
