Galleries Sorting Out Of Order

I must be doing something that's causing this but can't work out what!

I have a section for each venue I shoot at.  Just noticed that the main section is re-sorting the galleries for no apparent reason when viewed on website.  I have tried sorting by date, modified date, name, even manually but it just keeps reverting back to it's own version mixing up 2024/2023 dates.

Photo attached of the order it reverts to even if I change the sort by to name, modified etc.  Once I come out of that section it reverts to the show order.....I am confused especially as its only one section that has started doing it.

You have that section to manually arrange the order of the galleries (see the up/down sort arrows).

thanks Tim but even when I sort manually they then revert to the shown order.  I find I always have to move galleries up o e before I publish them but never had this issue?

So you are saying the drag and drop sorting of the gallery isn't working? I just tested 2 separate installtions  and working in those.
