Confused About Preorder Galleries And Qr Codes

Hi Tim,

If I want to make clients preorder a package ( and register in the process)  and then use that data and print qr codes for those clients as they will need individual galleries, what's the best way to do that? I want them to see what they have preordered when they log back in.

There isn't an automated way to turn pre-orders into the QR codes yet (on the to-do list). But you can export the pre-order data and import it into the QR codes.

Pre-orders in the manual.
QR Passcodes in the manual

Things you will want to do for pre-orders:

1) In the price list you are going to use for pre-orders, use the "Additional Order Fields / Options" in the price list to create options to collect the student data like name, grade, teacher, etc....

2) In the Settings of that price list: "Pre-Order and coming back to select photos or not". You will want to select they are coming back to select photos  if they are.

After you have received the orders, you will view all the orders for that pre-order gallery by going to the Stats & Sales of that gallery then view orders from that gallery.

Select all orders and export them. You may need to go the order export settings and select your extra_ fields (which are the "Additional Order Fields / Options" ... subject data) and any other fields that may not be selected like name, email, etc... exporting the products purchased doesn't matter for this.

Then you can create a QR code gallery and import that data from the pre-orders.
