Request To Hide Sales Figures On Site Content Page
Hi Tim,
On the site content page where all the galleries are listed, is there a way to hide the stats and sales amount? I know I can turn off access in "admin," but my staff need to access the site content to upload images. However, I would prefer they not see the sales figures for each gallery.
Please help with this.
Thank you
if you google the forums, you'll see this has been asked a few times now .. I asked a few years back as well.. Sytist is hard to share with multi users :/
If the admin user doesn't have access to the Orders section, then they won't see the galleries sales totals.
My Email Address: info@picturespro.com
Thanks. All the other requests I was referring to ( I think there's 4 threads from different people I have joined) require their people to see orders ( for packing, admin, contractors etc ) but no figures. Shawn's needs may differ.
Hi Tim,
Our admin users need access to the Orders section for tasks such as checking orders and printing order forms. However, we believe many business owners, including myself, would prefer that staff not have visibility into the overall sales figures.
Could you please look into this matter? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for considering this.
It already does that, DO NOT GIVE FULL ACCESS. Select what you want them to be available to view. It will show the order total. but will not show overall sales. Plus all request needs to go in the "request" section. Tim ignores request not placed there.
Hi Vance, it's already been put in that thread, and thanks for weighing in, but as has been pointed out before, the current restrictions are not enough when heading a team of people.
Random team members don't need to see the order totals, they just need to know the order details. They don't need to know what you're charging the client, how much you're charging, how much you're making, how much you're paying them, then knowing what the cut is, etc. The current restrictions are simply not enough.
Every cashier and restaurant server in the world see's an order total. Are your prices on your website? Or do you keep them a secret? Thanks for your responce but this was a reponce to Shawn not you.
HI Vance, this is an open forum and Sean, I, and others are invested in a solution for our particular businesses that obviously run differently from your cashier model. I quite enjoy the open collaboration with others on this forum as we help and support each other. There's some great people in here chipping in on topics with positive or supportive contributions all the time. Finding people with similar issues or ideas is helpful in many ways.
