Is there a way to have the customer enter the County they live in when checking out?

Settings -> Account Requirements and check Country.

Can I edit the text somewhere to say County instead of Country?

Sorry, I read it as country. There is not an option for them to enter a county.

ok, every 3 months when I submit my sales tax I say it sure would be nice for the customer to add their county.
Maybe in an update there could be an option for custom fields to be added?
