Removing Photos From Orders

Hi,
I have deleted a lot of old galleries completely with all photos. Unfortunately the photos from digital downloads attached to the corrensponding order are not deleted. They remain in the system with full quality even having the options deselected (screenshot below).
Could this have something to do with the "replace photo" option I'm using to prepare the download for the customer?
Is that a bug or did I miss something?

It is probably from the replaced photos on the orders. When you replace a photo on an order that photo isn't part of a gallery any more. If you replace the photos in the gallery itself they will remain in that gallery.
