About Page- Issue

Tim,  One of my page categories is acting weird.  Not too sure if it was broken when we changed servers (I'm sure you remember that cluster) or what.  Maybe its a design issue, but I have been searching everywhere on how to completely delete it or remove it from the header just to hide it, but nothing seems to work.  It just shows up as the directory.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jeremy

I can see what you are saying.

https://www.mcdphoto.net/  Click about.

How can a link on the home page be a random folder?  Tried to delete it in the host directory and it will not go away.  Tried to delete it in the sys admin and will not go away.

You can remove the link from the top of your page, by going to menu links see photo. but it does look like you created a category either in the "Top Level pages" or in the regular category area. My guess it is in the top level pages area.

Thanks Vance.  That's what I was looking for.  Not too sure if the root issue, but I can now turn it off.

Thanks-Jeremy

I did go to that page, i did not encounter any issues, the web address xxxxxxx.com/about/about/ so that tells me you created a category then created a page in that category. for just info pages use top level, then create your page. see below.

good luck sir.

You will need to get the index.php file out of the about folder from the old server and upload it to the about folder on the new server.
