Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.
Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.
Moved Photocart To A New User / Domain On My Host - Having Some Issues
I moved my photo cart folder to a new domain under a new user on my host.
I can see the client landing page an log in to a gallery and adding things to the cart seems to be ok - but I have mislaid my admin login info and when I try to reset it and send the email, when I press submit, it just goes to a white page, and I do not receive the reset email
Clearly there must be something somewhere that needs to be updated, would you be able to assist, thanks,
Craig
Just hoping you might have some ideas how to fix this?
Thanks
Craig
Can you please help with this issue - it has been a while since I needed to login to this cart and still have the same problem as back in June. The domain that the cart is installed in is using PHP 5.6, so I don't know what I have done wrong.
A customer managed to place an order today, but did not receive any confirmation emails - which is similar to the issue I am having in not getting the email to reset my admin account - is there a way I can do that by editing the email address directly? - but that would not solve the problem of why clients are not getting confirmation emails.
Thanks
Craig
Any chance that you can reply this thread?
