Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

My site has died. Had to do a reinstall and here I am at Santa Portrait time tomorrow and can’t resolve it. Blue Host has tried, but can’t figure it out. Anybody ever had this error?

That error means you, your host, or someone changed the password for the database. For the database user assigned to the database to be exact.
You will need to go into your hosting control panel and into the MySQL section and set a new password for the database user that is assigned to your Photo Cart database..
Then the setup.php file that is in your Photo Cart folder will need to be editing and update the password for the user in that file.
The $setup['pc_db_pass'] variable.
