Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Missing File

Hi -

We have an older version of Photo Cart. Looks like the most recent files are from about 2009. Yeah. That old. We're trying to recover some material from the site and perhaps resurrect it, but it's been hacked, and it appears that we're missing a file in the site root: style.php. I've tried grabbing the upgrade packages and it doesn't appear to be in there. I also can't tell exactly what version we have, although looking in the upgrades.php file it seems the upgrade version maxes out at 5.15. So must be we're on 5.15. Is there any way we could find just that style.php file somewhere?

Thanks.

I am pretty sure there is not a style.php file in Photo Cart. Maybe that is coming from something else? What is the error message?

Error message is looking for style.php at line 85 of head.php, also in the site root: "Warning: require(style.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/XXXXXXXXX/httpdocs/head.php on line 85". Here's what's at lines 84 and 85:

I think you're right - I don't think it was a valid file. But it's also worth noting that if I comment that line out, the page loads fine, and then it's missing its styles. But this may be an entirely separate problem.

There is no head.php file in Photo Cart either. Maybe you added some custom code and files that is missing.

Is it possible for me to get a copy of 5.1.5 for comparison? That would be very helpful. We could *probably* provide a registration key or something if necessary. We must have it somewhere...

I don't have the files for 5.1.5 anymore. You can download and to the upgrade to Photo Cart 7.

If you can't find your Photo Cart registration key to download the upgrade files, you can use "tim" (without the quotes) as the registration key to download the upgrade files.
