If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

I would like to be able to provide vendors with the ability to download images for free without a watermark. I have the following settings in place:
Free Download: Yes
Photosize: Display Image (although I've tried all with the same results)
Add your watermark free image: Yes (also tried no, same results)
When the gallery is viewed no watermarks appear, but when they download an image the default 'proof' image appears all over the image, as normal. To be clear, these images were uploaded without any watermark applied, so everything is clean until it hits PhotoCart.
What's going on here and how do I fix it?

Here are the settings for no watermark. If you are testing and have the gallery open, you will have to refresh the gallery for the changes to take effect.
