Gallery Specific Coupons Accepted Across Galleries But Not Discounted

Issue: Gallery specific coupons appear to be accepted at the basket for items from galleries that they should not be accepted at, but the subtotal does not get discounted.

The coupon code used should have been specific to QR Test Gallery, but in screen shot 1, the coupon was 'accepted' at Test Gallery.  It did not apply the £5 discount however, even though it says 'Your discount has been applied'.  Screen shot 2 shows the same coupon acting correctly and applying the £5 discount to the subtotal at QR Test Gallery.  

Is this expected behaviour Tim?  

Also, is there any chance of making the subtotal (above the proceed to checkout button) more prominent?

Yes it is expected behavior. The coupon is valid and accepted, but they don't have any items in their cart to discount.
