Moving Order Between Customers

I have a parent who has ordered before using her correct email address.

However this year she entered her email and instead of using the correct one hername@herdomain.net, in her eagerness when entered hername@herdomain.COM

Oh my!?!

I was alerted to this when the automated emails confirming her order bounced. I just tried to correct it and then discovered the hername@herdomain.NET already exists as she has ordered before so I cannot change the orders email address to her correct one.

Is there any way to move an order over to her actual account?

The easiest way would be for her to use her husbands or childs email, or set up a throw away one with gmail. But she is stubbornly refusing to do this :-(

Reason for its importance now is that the confirmation emails regarding school delivery of the photos will now go to a balck hole in cyber space intead of to her.

Thank you

I don’t think there’s a way to append an order to an account. A work around I’ve been using is to create an admin coupon code of 100% off and remake the order while logged in as the customer then delete the first order or archive it and keep it as a record if you need to pull up the order. Place a note on the order to refer to the new order number.

That's a great idea :-)

Much thanks. I will mull over how this will work with my accountant so that if we are audited all will be good.

If you view the order in the admin, click the Edit Order tab, then Billing Address you can change the email address.

Not an option to change the account.
