Trouble With Payments
Hi All! 2 of my clients have gotten this error message: Sorry, but your transaction was not successful. Try again if you believe this was in error. If you continue to have problems, please contact use with the following response: Response: (The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.)
I'm using Square and 36 people have placed orders and have had no trouble. Why would 2 get an error and the rest are going through?
A google search of that error messages shows that is an Authorize.net message. So you must also have Authorize.net active. Settings -> Checkout & Payment.

I thought it was fixed but another client just emailed me with the same error. I unactivated it. I have also closed my authorize.net account a few weeks ago. Any other ideas?
Perhaps they tried before you fixed it and made it inactive.

Perhaps, she emailed me after I changed it, so she could've been trying before.
