I was hoping to allow my clients a discount as they increase the number of digital files they order, is this do able?
for example;
1 digital image file= $500.
2 different image files = $400 each
3 different image files = $300 each

etc etc... I have used bulk discounts for ONE image, but is there a way to allow discounts for multiple different images? I have tried using packages, but that only allows for one over all price, I have also tried it as a product group but that only allows for one individual image... clear as mud??

When viewing your price group in the admin, edit price group.

There is an option for Discount Type, set it to Standard on multiple prints

Standard:

This means it will discount multiple prints of the same image.

Example: you have 5x7s prices at $10. For quantity 2-4, $8. If the customer selects 3 of the same image in a 5x7, the total price would be $24 (3 X 8 = $24).



Standard on multiple prints:

Similar to just standard, but works on multiple images in the same size.

Example: you have 5x7s prices at $10. For quantity 2-4, $8. If the customer selects 3 different images in a 5x7, the total price would be $24 (3 X 8 = $24).


Tiered:

This option works on multiple prints of the same image but discounts it differently.

Example: you have 5x7s prices at $10. For quantity 2-4, $8, quantity 5 or more $6. If the customer selects 5 5x7s of the same image, the total price would be: $40
