Hello,
I'm a new user and a new poster. I am posting today to ask PicturePro/Grissett for a clarification of the purpose of this forum and its role in the support services offered by PicturePro/Grissett. I note that the title of the forum is "SUPPORT CENTER" and that a Tim Grissett is moderator and a poster.
More specifically I am interested in having my expectations set as as a new user as far as responsiveness of PicturePro/Grissett LLC via this forum, and in particular getting answers to basic questions from PicturePro/Grissett LLC regarding PhotoCart.
Dear fellow community members, thank you in advance for your opinions on the purpose of this forum but I am really seeking a comment from PicturePro/Grissett LLC. I am not interested in debating the pros & cons of vender vs. community support, or what the role of this forum SHOULD be, I'm seeking clarification from PicturePro/Grissett. I think this is a reasonable request. If this topic sits with no replies that will be my answer.

The days of Tim spending hours on this forum are long gone. His business has gotten too big for him to monitor this community support forum.

Dave, this request has been made and answered a few times. I don't know if HughD is a real user (since no website has been listed) or just somebody trying to stir up something.
If you have a question and you get an answer why does it matter who answers the question. I just suggest that all (including Tim) just ignore post and let that be his reply.

I consider the forum community support from other Photo Cart users and sometimes I will come on to answer stuff. If you have a question that can't be answered here or through the FAQ, click the contact link at the top of the page. That will send me an email and I will answer it.

I have had questions from time to time that i have directly emailed to Tim. His responses have always been quick and very helpful.
I love the software, the support from Time directly and the support from other users in this forum.

Ditto. The best part is that for the most part, the script just works. Once when it did not, Tim responded quickly to my email inquiry. Give a lot of credit to Dave for his volunteerism. He is a very capable coder, a long time PhotoCart user, and is capable of answering most questions.
This support forum is not much different from an Apple forum. Apple NEVER responds directly to questions posted on their technical support forum. Yet it works.
